If you need to submit multiple files for a homework assignment, there is a free tool in Windows and Mac that allows you to zip all files into a single file for submission.
Zipping a file on Windows
- Place all the files and folders you would like to zip into a folder.
- Right click on the folder you would like to zip.
- Click on Send to and select Compressed zipped folder.
- You have successfully zipped a folder. You can now upload the zip file to your instructor.

Zipping a file on Mac
- Place all the files and folders you would like to zip into a single folder.
- Alternatively, select the files you would like to zip, and select New Folder with Selection
- Right click on the folder to be zipped, and select Compress.
- You have successfully zipped a folder. You can now upload the zip file to your instructor.
